How do I clear all my history off my computer forever?

I want to clear all of the history off of my Dell Inspiron E1505. I really don't know alot about computers but here are some details if you need them. I have Mozilla Firefox for the internet. Windows XP. Umm yeah I want to use it for school so all I want off is the history. I want to keep all of my bookmarks and Pictures.

It's simple. Click on Mozilla. When it comes up, look above and hit tools, then clear private data, and then you will be given a choice on what you want to clear.
