I am assuming you are using Windows Internet Explorer v7.0.6000.16705. Right-click on your IE icon on your Desktop. Select Properties. Under the General Tab, there is a section called Browsing History. Click the Delete button. This will bring up the Deleting Browsing History dialog box. Select Delete All, and hit Yes when it prompts you to. This can take anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes.

Tools - Internet Options - Delete - Delete All (including files and settings stored by add-ons) ... then wait for it to cycle.
