How do I clear search assist?

If you are using Internet Explorer, you can clear the search history by clicking "Tools -> Options", the "Content" tab, the "AutoComplete" button and then click "Clear Forms".

You can do that... or you can also disable the function.

To change your Search Assist setting:

On the Yahoo! homepage:

    * Click the arrow below the search box to expand Search Assist.

    * Select “Off”or "On."

On a Yahoo! search results page:

    * Click the arrow below the search box to expand Search Assist.

    * Click “Settings” to go to Search Preferences.

    * At "Show me the Search Assist layer," select:

            - Always

            - Never

            - When you detect I need help
