How do I clear searches and history?

Mozilla Fire Fox.

Go to the Tools command and then select clear private data and  then select the commands accordingly.

Internet Explorer

Go to the Tools Command and then select Internet Options. And  now click Delete Files, Delete Cookies & Clear History.

u go to Tools... under that, there should be "Clear Private Data".. check "Browsing History"  and "Saved Form and Searched History"

You need to clear or disable Auto Complete. This saves all previous searches in your search bar. Here's how to fix the problem:

For Internet Explorer: Click on Tools. Then Internet Options. Click on Content and then Auto Complete. Then click on Clear Forms. This will erase your search history. If you don't want things showing up again in your search history then deselect the Auto Complete options at the top. Be sure to select apply or ok at the bottom.
