How do I clear the list of sites I have typed into the search web?

Question

when I'm typing a name the list of sites I have typed or visited instantly appear so anyone can know where I have visited merely by typing a letter. How do i clear this history of sites

Turn off auto complete for one, From internet options (in tools on Internet Explorer)  click on the clear forms button. THen turn it off, or uncheck the web addresses box. Also, may as well clear cookies and history on the General tab

Click tools above and hit the clear history tab. Click the green button on toolbar and clear searches.
