I can't decide which pic I like best, so I'd like to post them both at the same time. How do I do that? Please and thank you!

  1. Hi there

you can only post one picture as back ground unless ..... you create a mix of pictures.

You can do that using your Paint feature. Is quite simple.

you open your paint application, make sure you re-size the screen to entire panel

Click on: Edit , there in the pull down menu click on paste from.... your picture folder will come up.

Choose your picture, re-size it any size you wish and allows you too. you can do that with as many pictures as you like, just re-size them to fit your screen since some will be bigger than others. when you are done you click on: File and in the pull down menu click on Save as .... save your back ground to your picture folder. Make sure you use only the Jpeg format. Yahoo does not take Gift etc.

Once is save in your picture folder you can use it as your page back ground.

    Hope this did help.

I have created some back grounds that way.

    Good luck to you

  2. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/360-Custom... - a Yahoo group set up to help users with customizing a theme for their 360° page.

  3. You can post two images on the background without using any other program.

If you've NEVER WORKED with your custom theme before:

After logging into 360, click on the "My Page" link next to your "Home" link. Then, at the top under that line of links is the word "Theme: [name of whatever theme you currently have]." Click the "Change Theme" link that's directly under those words.

On the new page that comes up, there's a paragraph stating "Select a Theme - Change the look of your Yahoo! 360° page by picking a theme. Click "Apply Theme" to make the change." Directly under that click a link called "Customize Your Theme." A new "Customize Your Theme" window will pop up where you can insert .jpg images as well as customize colors.

If you HAVE WORKED with the custom theme window before:

Click the "Edit Custom Theme" link toward the top left of your "My Page."

Now, in the image section of the popup custom theme window you will a field where you browse for an image for the TOP part of your page and a field for an image for the BOTTOM part of your page.

If you want to instead combine the images in a different way, only then will you need Microsoft Paint (or other photo/graphic editing program):

Just open one main background picture in Paint that you want on the page. You can adjust the dimensions by clicking on the Images menu and then Attributes. Or clicking the bottom right corner and dragging, while holding down the shift key. If you want the image to go across the page it will have to at least 1064 pixels wide or more. You'll have to trial and error this to get it exactly the way you want it.

Open the second image, then go to the Edit menu and select "Select All", then "Copy." Then, click on the main image and  paste the small image onto the main image. Adjust the the positioning. Then, save it.

NOTE: Once you position it and save the entire image, you can't undo it. (Save the background as new file name each time - just in case you want to go back and start from a certain point).

NOTE2: Really, it's best to do this type of working in an editing program that allows layering like Adobe Photoshop. But just work with what you have.

NOTE3: Your background picture must be JPEG formatted (.jpg, .jpeg, or .jpe as the extension) and under 250KB in file size.

  4. I used paint. I copy/pasted both pictures onto paint and put them next to each other. Then I saved the image and uploaded to my 360 profile. But I never used it, as the WWE Backlash 2008 poster and the Chelsea Football Club logo are cool by themselves, not together.
