I have access to my neighbors and my own network simultaneously. I would like to combine their bandwidths. For example: connection A runs at 51kb/s and connections B runs at 50kb/s. How can I combine these to get bandwidth that runs at 101kb/s?

  1. You can't necessairly split the speed, however you can split the load.

For example, if you are downloading music you can put that on an alternate connection, to use your other connection at full speed.

Your going to need a dual connection network card; preferably not proxied to avoid any problems.

From there you should be able to connect both wires into the back of your computer (or wherever you connected the network card).  Windows should attempt to split the loads itself efficiently if you are running on linux you will be able to control the load on each connection to your exact specifications (allowing optimal control).

  2. Smash them with a really BIG hammer!
