How do I come up with my own surfing brand name. need help!!!?

Start with a word like surfing. then write every word down that you can think of that relates to that word. you should be able to  come up with hundreds of words. Then start matching words and phrases. Eventually something is going to keep coming back to you.

Make a list of your top 10-20 favorites. Check to see if anyone else is using those names under trademark. Then ask your friends and other surfers which ones sound cool, and conveys the feeling or emotional attachment you are trying to communicate for your new brand.

That's how we do it in the advertising world.

What are you marketing? Surfboards, clothes, surf wax? Are you a manufacturer (shaper)? Are you a distributor? Retailer?

Unfortunately, I suspect that people who really have a line of (surfboards, clothes, wax, sunglasses etc) to market don't research possible product line names in Yahoo Answers.
