How do I complain about the abuse of a yahoogroup.?

Question

the group "civilwarhistory2" and its moderators condone and support the flaming and abuse of people who support the union and Abraham Lincoln...and make constant personal attacks on individuals. I am so disgusted I have left the group. I just want you to know how these moderators promote hatred of the u.s.

Hmmm..........Opinions are like "you-know-whats"! Everybody has one, and other people's usually stink! It's a free country, and people are allowed to have, AND voice any stupid opinion they want. If you don't agree with them, you don't have to associate with them.

Ric, the simple thing to do is find another group. I also should add, not everyone in America believes Lincoln is the demi-God, some people believe. After 145 years, there is continued discussions over Lincoln's war against the South. Both a Pro-North and Pro-South viewpoint. Most certainly there are groups that wont allow Southern points of view. Why not join one of those. (in closing, are you sure you didnt engage in personal attacks yourself!)

some groups are bound to have flame wars- civil war, oh yea. best thing to do is leave such a group if it's not for you.

they don't have a customer service option at the bottom of the page? Check under your account and see if there is an email address that you can write to, or you could begin a petition and get a lot of people to sign it and present it. Other than that I don't know.

What you are saying would not fall under "abuse".  

What you do need to know is that group owners can allow to an extent what they want to on their own groups.  Usually if a person doesn't like what's there, they leave the group like you did.  There are other Yahoo groups you could join and probably like them much better.
