Question:

How do I completely erase ALL of the data in my iPod touch, including websites that i have visited?

I have been having trouble with my Ipod touch and I wanted to take it to get it fixed because i have a warranty. But I do not want the people fixing it to look at any of my personal information. I man i really want to have my ipod completely wipped out.

  2. Just restore your ipod when you connect it to your computer, and make sure it doesn't automatically back up your ipod and put all your info back on there! Also to delete all the sites you've been to you can go to settings on your ipod and touch the safari one i think, and click clear browsing history! Hope that helped! =]

  3. 1. Connect the iPod to your computer.

    2. Go into iTunes

    3. Click on your iPod in the devices list (left)

    4. Click Restore (in the centre of screen)

    5. Leave it to restore your iPod

    6. When it's finished it might ask you to restore old setting, if it does just select "Set up as new iPod" if you want to resync your music or unplug it if you don't want your music restored.

    And now your iPod is (software wise) identical to a brand new iPod.
