How do I compress a folder of pictures on pc?

I need to winzip a folder of pics and send them to a customer but after winzip compression, the file is still 118MB. Is there a batch processor other than the default "send to email" image processor that I can use on PC to compress image files?

Picture files are packed with info and do not compress very well.   If your files are NOT jpg - then you will probably get better compression rations ( smaller files )by converting them to jpg then by using a compression program.
