How do I compress a video I made on my digital camera so I can email to someone?

I took my first video on my digital camera but think its too large to send via email. How do I compress without buying some special software?

there are various compression softwares like winzip and winrar, you could use them to compress the actually video.

Else use any video converter softwars such as all video converter to retain the content but minimise the size by selecting     any other video formats.

Open it in windows dvd maker, then change it to the desired size if its a large vid should just upload to youtube as private.
