Question:

How do I concentrate at work, knowing I'm being watched every minute by my bosses?

I work in a callcentre, and unfortunatley, I sit next to the supervisors who can hear every word I utter to the customers on the phone. Its very intimidating and I keep making mistakes as I feel uneasy.

Is there any advice anyone can share on how I can just block them out and relax on the job at hand?

Thank you.

  1. tell him tht u get nervous very fast and it makes u very uncomfortable (but say it in a casual and a nice way and make it sound like it is not his fault but urs) n tell him the truth

  2. Relax.

Making mistakes is normal, everyone does it.

Focus on not making the same mistake twice. You may even want to ask them if they have heard anything that they might think you could do better or differently. Use their close proximity to your advantage.

  3. Tell your supervisor you find it difficult to work being so close to them. Or you could just pretend your somewhere else.

  4. It may be hard but think of them as being there incase you need help. Im sure your a good worker so its not like they have anything to worry about. Do they watch your every move constantly or are you just working right under their noses. They may not trust you. That or you just may be paranoid.

  5. That's the worst!  My boss used to watch us on a camera from his house and he would call and scream all the time. Even if we wern't douing anything wrong it still made you feel uncomfortable.  I was a bartender though-so I don't think my solution would work for you Cheers!
