I had broadband set up with my original laptop some time ago which I have no problems with using wireless. However I have just brought another computer for my bf and he wants to be able to go online too. How can I make it so that he can go online through my internet connection? I cant find the card that I was given with the password to access my network when it was originally set up by Sky. Is there a way round this?

  1. you should already have a wireless router, go to the wireless properties of the new laptop, you should find that your network is detected automatically, then its just a matter of entering the key for the router, its usually next to the router serial number.

  2. Just use the wireless lan on the othher laptop.

  3. If you are using the router the key should be printed on the bottom of it. Boot your bf laptop, look for the wireless indicator on the taskbar, double click it and put in the key, and he should be connected. If not phone sky and they should be able to help you with the key.
