How do I connect a seperate DAB aerial to portable radio which only has a telescopic aerial and no socket.?

  1. The miniature jumper cables sold at electronics hobby shops work well.

    If the external aerial has a coaxial cable, clip a jumper cable between  the tip of ther aerial and the center pin of the coaxial connector, and clip another jumper between the outer sleeve of the coaxial connector and the negative battery post (usually a spring).

    This is what I do with my old Sangean radio for better shortwave reception.
