Please walk me through the steps because I have a hard time understanding this type of technology, so it would be awesome if you could simplify your answer for me. Thanks a lot for helping me out!

Currently, my TV can record shows via the DVR program through the DVR box that sits on tops of the television. I also have a DVD receiver (player) that sits on top of my television that I can play movies and CD's on.

Now for the question: How can I get my recorded shows from the DVR program onto DVD's, therefore making more permanent copies of the shows?

In essence, I would like to put DVR recorded shows onto DVD's. How do I go about doing this?

Thanks for answering!

  1. Hi Alexander,

First you have to have a DVD burner. A DVD player can't create DVD's.

Once you get a DVD recorder you can copy from your DVR onto DVDs.
