How do I connect my PS2 to my TV when there's only a place to connect cable in the back of the tv?

I'm getting a hand-me-down TV from my parents for college this fall. I also have a PS2. However my TV only has a place to connect it to cable tv. It doesn't have the usual red, yellow, and white holes for a PS2 or DVD player. Is there an adapter I can buy? If so where can I get one fairly cheaply?

  1. Hey there, I'm a home theater specialist, and what you need is an called an RF Modulator, which can be bought at places like best buy for less that $25. Basically, you'll hook up your red/white/yellow cables to the RF Modulator, and coming out from the Modulator will be an RG6 cable going into your TV. Mind you, the picture quality of playing a PS2 on a very old TV will look.... kinda... bad....

    Hope this helps!

  2. Yes its called a scart adapter, they are really cheap of ebay however purchasing a brand new one is expensive. So check ebay or amazon out will be your best bet
