How do I connect my Xbox 360 with the internet?

I want to connect the unit up through my PC with the Ethernet cable, but my PC gets internet through a wireless network adapter. I want to somehow share my computer's internet with the Xbox 360. I can't connect to the modem or router because they are across the entire house.

if the modems are xbox compatable you can just enter the modem code thing into the xbox or it will do it automaticlly, i think. i might be wrong.

If you had a ps3 you would be set cause it has wifi built in. Oh well, you get what you pay for.
