How do I connect my ps3 and my sky to a surround sound?

I am a total noob at sound systems with tvs so I wonder if you can help?

I have a matsui 32 inch hdmi lcd with 1 hdmi input which is currently used by the ps3 then sky is through a scart lead, how would I go about connecting a surround sound to sky and the ps3 and which one would do it best for between £200 and £300?
