How do I connect my router to my modem?

Question

I have an Arris modem connected to my Dell computer and an Apple airport extreme. How can I connect my router to my modem? Which wires do I connect?

Your router should have a port called WAN or Internet.  Connect the ethernet cable (the cable you are connecting from the modem to your computer)  from the modem to this port on the router. Configure your router and the computers to connect to the router and off you go.

Well it should be pretty obvious and you will have to set up a wireless connection too to your pc

the guy above me that answered is retarted u dont need to put a wireless chip into your computer just need to Ethernet cables one that goes from you modem to router and the other one that goes from you router to computer
