How do I connect on a wireless network with WPA?

I'm having problems connecting to my Apple Express with WPA security. I'm trying to connect my i-mate SP5 with Windows Mobile 5.

Here is the processes that I've already did:

Start > Settings > Connections > Wi-Fi Settings > Wi-Fi > and select the available network > Menu > Edit > Menu > Network Key > for Authentication, I choose WPA > for Data Encryption, I choose TKIP and place a tick on "The key is automatically provided" > I enter the password on the space provided below "Network Key" > and I leave "Key index" to 1.

Still, I've been trying to hit Connect to the network available with WAP security, but it does not attempt to connect. My Wi-Fi settings are working properly on default settings, and worked with other networks around with no security. Any problems on what am I doing?

  1. You can only connect to WAP with "The key is automatically provided" if the router has in fact been setup that way.  You would usually need to know the security key to access a secure access point.

    Hope that helps.
