Do I need a Xbox Live Card to connect to Xbox Live on an original Xbox?

And if so where would I find one?

  1. You need an Xbox Live membership code. Used to you could buy them at Walmart or Target. I know you can buy them on Ebay, too. Some original Xbox games used to come with a free two month trial.

    Once you have a membership code, you'll need to hook your Xbox up to the internet via Ethernet chord.
