  1. I might guess that you have a Dishnetwork satellite receiver, maybe a HD receiver. Maybe a model 622 receiver, well anyways if you do connect your fiber optics cable from your optical output of the dish receiver to the input of the audio receiver, this gives you 5.1 surround sound, then connect RCA cable (red white yellow) from the audio output of the dish receiver to the audio input of the TV.

    God Bless

  2. Here's one way.

DVD player out to TV in.

TV Audio out to Amp in.

Most tv's will have a thru signal which means you can still hear the tv speakers when the signal is being sent out of the tv. There are some tv's where you have to select Audio OUT as the output for sounds via the menu. Depends on your tv. The other option is buying Y-spliters and spliting the sound from your dvd player to the tv in and the amp in at the same time. Whenever you want to hear the amp, all you have to do is turn it on. If you don't want to hear it, the tv speakers will still work. Good luck.
