How do I convert a home video to a dvd disc.?

I would say if you have a dvd recorder with hd thats the best thing connect it to your tv as normal and if you have a second scart socet connect the video through there and play it, you should then be able to set the dvd to  record off the av channel or the second scart port thus recording the image your video is playing on the tv.
