  1. degrees R= degrees K x 9/5

    thus, 100 degrees K = 180 degrees R

    300 degress K (a bit above room temp)=540 degrees R

    the rankine scale is the absolute scale with the same increment as in the fahrenheit scale, absolute zero = -459 F


  2. 1 kelvin = 1.8 rankine

    just multiply Kelvins by 1.8

    As

    1 ْ k = -457.87 ْ F

    and 1 ْ F  = 461 ْ R

  3. [°R] = [K] × 9⁄5 [K] = [°R] × 5⁄9
