How do I convert mp3's so I can play them on my stereo?

I burnt a bunch of music from Windows Media player onto a disc not long ago, and when I went to play it, I couldn't. I worked out that I needed to convert the song's from mp3's, but from then on I'm stuck.

Can anyone offer some help?

  1. Most probably your stereo can't read mp3 files. In this case, when you burn your music to your cd, you must burn the cd as CD-AUDIO.

I would recommend you get the following software, that has the ability to burn Audio Cds directly from mp3's:

    Nero Burning ROM

  2. nero's good and all, but it's a trial version. meaning have a few days free, and then pay. like a teaser. if you download a program called audacity, you cna load the song onto the program, and export to mp3, WAV, and even ogg vorbis (VLC MEDIA). you can burn discs using iTunes as well.
