  1. check out this web site http://www.eere.energy.gov/afdc/infrastr...

  2. Well I'm afraid the engine you have currently will have to be replaced with a deisel engine once you do that you will have to buy a converter kit which can run you from $500

  3. I would not change from natural gas to bio diesel.

    Plus you can't.

A car that runs on natural gas is basically a standard gasoline car.

To use Bio diesel you must have a diesel engine.

Not to mention natural gas is cheaper than bio diesel.

  4. Put in a diesel engine.

  5. If the engine is a diesel engine then it is a simple as filling with Bio Diesel and re tuning the injection timing for efficient combustion.

If it is a petrol engine then it is probably not going to run on a compression fuel.

Also, if it is a diesel engine you should use a fuel conditioner with the Bio Fuel to replace to low lubricating qualities of Bio Fuels.

Hope this has been some help.

  6. For one, if it is running on CNG keep it!  Natural gas is cleaner and least expensive per mile in fuel cost.  Since it is a Jeep you should have plenty of room underneath to add a 2nd tank to extend your range if you choose.

If you have your heart set on biodiesel, sell the CNG Jeep and buy a diesel.  Don't even consider an engine swap.

Did you buy that Jeep that way, or did you do the conversion yourself?
