Question:

How do I convert my JVC camcorder videos with the .mod extenstion to mpeg?

Everytime I try, i get an mplvpx.dll error. Telling me that the dll directory or something doesn't exist. HELP! PLEASE??? I've tried downloading that dll, nothing's helped.

  1. Typically, JVC mod files are actually MPEG-2 video files with a different extension. To play such .mod files, it is not necessary to convert them but in most cases simply rename their extension to .mpg. (Thanks to Chuckie !)

  3. Most videos recorded by camera are avi or mov video, you may try aimersoft video converter, it's a nice general video converter that can convert avi and mov video to mpeg video. Here is a guide about it
