I just moved in with my dad in summer of last year. He lives with his girlfriend, my half-brother, and his girlfriends 20 year old daughter. When my dad's girlfriends daughter was 15 my dad put her on his cell phone plan. I had a cell phone but it was for a different state, so when I moved in with my dad he got my cell phone cut off and said that he was going to put me on his plan. But after a couple weeks he said he couldn't because my dad's girlfriends daughter was still on his plan and cant afford to pay the fee to get off of the plan. I can understand that, put it's been 6 months now, and I've been waiting all this time. How can I convince my dad that this is unfair and get him to be harder on her about paying off her cell phone bill? I dont see why my dad or his girlfriend arent harder on her because she's a high school dropout and she's pregnant. I know I'll never be able to get a cellphone if they dont crack down on her because once she has her baby I know she'll never be able to pay off her bills?

  1. why can't he just add you to his plan and you get a part time job to help pay the extra cost of adding you

  2. Your story makes me wonder why in the world you would move in with your dad.  Why does she have to get off the plan.  All he has to do is hand the phone to you and for you to start using it.

  3. i know its unfair to you but i think you should think about what your dads girlfriends daughter is going through. shes got a baby to take care of and thats not easy, with all the money a baby requires and everything.. just get another plan or something
