How do I convince my dad to let me spend Christmas at my bf's house?

I live in Fl, my bf in NJ. he visited me last Christmas and this Summer. now for this December 08 he cant come because he is working. My dad refuses to let me go and even told me to "forget about it".

Tell him that your boyfriend mean a lot to you and if you want to see him you shouldnt be held against your will not to see him. Make a compromise with him..like if you go to your bf's house for xmas then you stay home for a different holiday or something like that. hope its helps :)

How old are you?  Do you work or go to school?  Who is going to pay for your ticket to get to New Jersey?  Are you still living at your parents house?

If you are out of school, working, living on your own, and can pay your own way, then, you might have some grounds to discuss your Father's decision.

Your dad is a guy and he dam well knows what's gonna happen if he lets you go up there. I have to admit that if I had a daughter in the same situation as you I'd be saying the same thing. But if you were the guy and your bf the girl your dad wouldn't have a problem letting you go up there. It's just the way it is.

Don't mention it then say something around when Christmas stuff is out.  Be good and at school, get good marks/grades ^_^
