How do I convince my mom to let me bring my laptop on the freaken plane?!?!?!?

Hey all , i want some entertainment on the plane . So I wanna play sims! but my mom said I can't bring it on the plane because I need a break off the computer. I just want entertainment for the trip! not for the whole vacation. I know the plane trip is only 5 hours but I need entertainment for the time to go by faster! I wont use the internet because well I can't but I need to convince her. She has this card game on the computer so many i will let her use the computer to , but i really want to bring my laptop for the plane and car trip NOTHING ELSE. thanks . so the question is how can I convince my mom to let me bring my laptop on the plane

Take an alternative information storage device.  They have these things called "books" that are full of stories and information.  The interface is a bit tricky - you have to turn things called "pages" but if you get one with good information the time just flies past while you are using it.

haha yeah I'm the same way, everyone tells me to get off the computer, my answer is always its none of your business haha but, u can tell her I want it to entertain myself on the plane and what am I going to do on a boaring plane 3000 feet off the earth...and try to stay calm, tell her I wont touch the computer while on the vacation, just let me bring it...etc haha yeah I know it's kinda begging but u'll get u'r way haha it always works !!!  if if if she says no which I doubt put it in your hand bag and sneek it in :D:D:D...good girl gone bad, haha !

You couldn't go online anyway if you wanted to on the plane.  And you would have to disable all wireless and bluetooth functions.

Bring a book.

Your Mom probably has a good point, because you're in here begging for reasons to let you have your "laptop crack" fix.  

As far as she's concerned, it's also one less thing to lug around.

Tell her what you just said.

Say that you wont use it fot any time after you get off the flight.

Maybe get a project or something that you have to do before the summer is over and say that you will type it up on the plane.

Then play Sims

Nicole, here is the deal. You will be on a five-hour flight. There is no place to plug in your computer. How long does your battery last? Not five hours, but probably only about 90 minutes or so, which will leave you with a dead computer and 3 1/2 hours to go.

Do the smart thing, and take a book or two with you.
