How do I convince my mom to let me wear the scene look?

Ok I'm not calling myself scene, but I luv the look, the makeup, clothes, ect.

My mom lets me wear everything but the makeup, I can only wear clear lipgloss & black eye shadow, but it has to be really un-noticable

Any help?

I want the scene look, I don't think its ugly, but she does, how do I convince her to let me?

just do a little at a time. like slowly change your make up just a little bit. then your showing her slowly... so she will get used to it and find it easier to understand

tell her it's your body and your life, and you should be able to do what you want with it. :]

also, maybe show her some pictures of people with scene makeup that look really good with it?
