How do I convince my mom to let us use the slip and slide in the yard?

Okay this is really pathetic but I(i'm 15 by the way) really want to set up the slip and slide thing in the yard and play this afternoon because its really hot out. Any ideas? Please?

set it up and slide girl If your mom said no then just spray eachother with the water hoes.

simple--- set it up in the house and she will tell you to take it out in the yard ....

If she said no, and you want yes, ask her to compromise by asking if you can do it on a "trial basis" and if it doesn't work or something goes wrong (whatever she is worried about) then you'll stop.

What's her point of opposition? Its hot, its bright, its dry, you seem old enough to set it up yourself with out parental supervision.. Just don't ask, go outside and play.

Maybe she is worried about the grass. I wouldn't listen to what others are saying and just go for it. If she said no there is probably a reason. Just play in the sprinkler instead!

If your putting it on a hill or something, bad idea. If your just putting it on flat ground, Tell ur mom that its safe and the only chances of you getting hurt is if you stand on it and slip and fall which you wont do. It's plastic, its not like its gonna hurt you or ur going to hurt it.
