I'm 16 years old and ever since I was 12 and my daddy promised to buy me a car once I turned 16 it's been my DREAM to learn how to drive. Well on another note my daddy is going through on his promise to buy me any car I want and I chose a 2006 Honda Civic, but the only thing is I can't drive it unless I have some authorization from the TDT (Texas Department of Transportation) there are plenty of Driving schools where I live, but she's not seeing reason why I should learn to drive right now. I'm going to start working this summer as well. How can I convince her that learning to drive and getting my 6 month permit and then License would probably be the best thing for me?

  1. She's probably just worried about you.  After two kids died within three weeks of each other my senior year I promised myself never to let my kids drive until they were 18.  It won't hurt to wait

  2. drive illegally

  3. Tell them that the sooner you start to learn to drive the easier it will be to learn, the younger you are the easier you lern , that is a fact,

  4. threaten her
