How do I cool off my house, swamp cooler is not enough!!?

ok, I have a small apt its about 700 square feet. I have a swamp cooler that barely makes a difference in the tempature, can anyone give me ideas on how to cool off my house? this heat is unbearable!!

stick your head in the freezer if you're broke, if you have money go buy an Air conditioner.

Fans help, but I would recommend an actual compressor-driven air conditioner. There are window models that will work fine to cool shall apartments and they don't cost much.

window ac units are cheap and work good in small places. You can also try adding a ceiling fan, I know it's an apartment but some places will allow you to put one in. Other then moving not many more options then that, you could also try a cool mist humidifier as well.....good luck
