Coping DVD I always use AVS DVD Copy. It copies personal home video even copywrite protected dvds in the original quality.

In many countries it is completely legal to copy DVDs for personal use (i.e. backups of legally purchased discs)

You'll need a program called DVD Decrypter, search for it on the web. Use "ISO read mode" to read the disc to your hard drive and "ISO write mode" to write that file to a DVDR.

Beware though. Several countries have bowed down to pressure from the evil music/movie industry giants, and prohibit copying of copy-protected materials, even for personal use. In some countries it may even be illegal just to obtain the software that is capable of circumventing copy protection! You should check your local laws before you begin.
