How do I copy a video disc to my computer? ?

Question

My sister-in-law sent me CD with video and audio on it. I have no trouble playing it on my computer and it plays in Windows Media Player..but would like to know how to copy it to my computer so I can email a copy to other members of my family.

Can anyone help me?

i think you have to rip it..thats what i do when i transfer of copy songs from a cd to my computer..i dont know if you do the same thing with the video but you can try it though...use your windows media player..there's a rip button at the top..my husband does copying a video all the time..i will ask him and get back to you later...
