How do I correct a "Maximum Transaction Time Exceeded" error message on Yahoo groups?

Question

Whenever I try to access messages on Yahoo groups, I get this error message. I cannot check any of the group activity logs. It is extrememly annoying and started out of the blue

it's one of yahoo's random errors, you're not alone... and basically all you can do is sit it out, things usually return to normal eventually!
