How do I cover-up scratches on my face....foundation isn't working

Question

Yesterday I was blowing on my kitten's stomach (stupid idea, i know), and he kicked up his back feet to try to push my face away. Now I have two long scratches on my forehead. It looks really ugly, so I tried covering it up with foundation, but it doesn't seem to be working! Is there anything else I can do?

put neosporin (however its spelled) on it for today and let it heal, if you try to put too much makeup on it, they may get infected..

Drink ALOT of water. Believe it or not, water reduces redness.

Use a mineral foundation (like bare minerals). They're more expensive than regular foundation but it works better to cover up scars and blemishes and it won't infect your scar because its all natural.

use something that has a green tint to it. like eyeshadow without glitter or something. then put foundation over that. to cover up red spots you have to use a little green. to cover up brown spots or scars use a tan or foundation. hope it works!

or put your hair up and put medicene on them, and wait till they heal.

or you can put powder on it.

get a concealer...go to macys etc...have them do a make up on you....

try using concealer then foundation concealer is made to cover up imperfections

unfortunately not really. You don't want them to get infected so the best bet is to just let it heal.

You need to make sure it is very well moisturised to soften it. if you don't foundation will clump around it. if foundation after moisturuser is still doesn't work use a water based (air brush) concealer.

Ouch!! Get a scar/scratch removal cream.

Foundation will only cause inflammation and infection, both will make the scratches look worse than they already do.  There is nothing you can do to cover them up, but using neosporin will help them heal faster.
