Question:

How do I create a double exposure using Windows Movie Maker?

For anyone whom can help,

I have the basic "Windows Movie Maker" program, and I have been trying to figure out how to combine two video clips together so that it appears as "one" (as if it were originally taken that way) -- like a superimposition/double exposure-type of experimentation.

Of course, I am not referring to merging images together as in 'fades' and so-forth, but am looking for an actual over-lapping tool that places one clip on top of another.

Any help would be thoroughly appreciated!

  1. Yep, it'll do it.  In Timeline mode, put your cursor on the rightmost video and drag it to the left.  You will see a blue arrow.  Sometimes it takes a little fussing, but when WMM knows you mean it, it will comply.
