How do I create a hyper-link in a description for a calender event?

Question

When posting an event in our Yahoo Group's calendar, I'd like to be able to have links to maps and other websites, etc. I'm only able to show the entire http text info that people then have to cut & paste into their browser.

you cant. as you say, you can add the link, it just wont be clickable. it will be copy and paste- able

would make for a great suggestion though

Sorry, that's just the way Y! Group Calendars are set up.  You could add your links in the Links area of the group.  Just click on "Links" on left side of group page.  When the link has served it's purpose, you can delete the link.
