How do I create a online store with a nice layout and theme ? Where Do I find companies that do that? Thanks!

I want to create my own web store but not on amazon or yahoo or ebay because they charge too much fees. Is it cheaper just creating my own or asking someone to do it ? If so where do I find companies that can do this? Is it expensive and what do they usually do when creating a web store for someone? If I create a web store do I still have to pay a monthly fee or will that all be done since I am doing everything myself? All I want is someone ot design it for me and create a check out option. I think Google checkout will be best for me and will using Google adwords help generate more money? How does it work? Do people come in and each time they visit ur site u get money or do they have to buy ur stuff first?Thanks.

i wonder and want to do the same thing but i dnt know how either.....i went on google and searched "free self creatable websites" and that helped alot hope i did also!!!!

There is alot out there you can find them in your local yellowpages and also online by searching in Google... How to Create  a Webpage. The one important thing you have to ask yourself is how you will get  people to your site. You have to Market. If you ask the right questions on Google you can get most of your questions answered.

I learned on my own using Adobe Photoshop and Dreamweaver. But it cost a couple hundred bucks for the software. So it all depends on what you want to do. I've made sites for friends and would be happy to look into it for you if you would like.

The first 2 sites I did were my current company site, www.lbsinv.com. And a shopping site at www.uniqueattractions.com. The unique attractions site is my first site and about 2 years old. If you got to the bottom of the LBS page and click on coming soon you can see how things have improved.
