I have a series of documents in word, and for instance, if the first one ends on page number 3, the next one starts on page 4 and so on..

How can I create an index that includes all of the documents?

  1. Do you really mean index?  Or maybe you mean table of contents?  Well, you said index, so here goes...

In the document where you want the index to appear, insert an { RD } field for each document in your series of documents, and then insert an { INDEX } field as you normally would if everything were in a single document.
