I maintain a couple websites for some non-profits in San Diego. Use FrontPage - - so I can be a complete dummy and the sites look GREAT! But now everybody is asking me to add eCommerce and shopping carts and I have downloaded osCommerce and Agoura and ZenCart - - and I am at a loss. Any easy way in FrontPage?

  1. You will need a webhost that supports php for osCommerce. I would recommend that you move away from Frontpage as it's a product that no longer is supported by Microsoft. Instead, you can build a free professional website with Microsoft Office Live Small Business - http://starturl.com/officelive . It comes with a free online design tool that lets you create web pages without coding. Currently, MS is offering a free domain name (i.e. yournonprofit.com) for the first year. To add ecommerce capability, you can add paypal buttons/shopping cart yourself or you can add the Store Manager add-on to your office live site.

  2. Get rid of front page its a terrible program. If you need WYSIWYG then use Dream Weaver if not use any text editor to edit html css php etc. for a good cms for ecommerce i suggest zencart.

read this article on how to install it on your web server http://tutorials.zen-cart.com/index.php?...
