How do I cross the street

Hello, my name is Edwin. I am 35 years old. When I was 22 I got in a bad motorcycle accident, and now I talk real slow, and can't understand hard sentnces. My mom has to keep my on a leash or I bite people. My question for you, yahoo, is my mom is out with friends, and a saw a shiny object across the street, and i want to go put it in my mouth. I am not allowed to cross the street without my mom holding my hand, otherwise i get beaten. how can I cross the street without my mom, and not get beat for it?
