  1. angle grinder with cement cutting disc or a diamond disc

  2. Not a coping saw!

  3. http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/pa...

this might be the thing to use

I have used this on slates, bricks, slabs and fire bricks

  4. with an angle grinder fitted with a stone cutting disc, but then if you do not know then oerhap you should not do it as it can be very dangerous

  5. Ensure you wear the corrective safety gear, mark the coping and cut using a diamond cutting grinding machine.

  6. Be prepared when using a cutting disc for a lot of dust so be careful - don't do it indoors - and don't do it near your neighbours windows, washing etc.

  7. hire out a stil saw with a diamond tip blade, make sure to check the blade before you cut the coping because if the blade is too worn, the saw will jump and not give a clean cut. also there should a connection to fit a hose pipe onto, the water cools the blade plus minimizes the dust.
