How do I cut my jeans at the knees so that it looks like the ones in the store?

Is there any special way to cut?

get a white crayon and scissors. at the knees, draw the shape of the hole. be sure it looks natural. cut it out w/ the scissors, and put it in the washer and dryer a few times. the edges will fray and it will look good. dont make the hole too wide, cuz it will get bigger when its washed.

ahaha what i did was use a white crayon to draw a straight line a little mroe than the length desired.

i cut it

and then cuffed it =]

and then cut off the xtra strings.
