How do I deal with negative thoughts for the SAT?

Last time while I was taking the SAT I had alot for negative thought going through my head when I got to a hard question I would think "i'm a r****d" or "I'm not ever going to get this one" I know this hindered my ablities on the test, how can I deal with this.

  1. Study Study Study and study with the big nerds.

    It helped me in highschool. Also,

    Recognizing the nasty things you think and counteracting it with "Shut up. No, I'm not. I totally got this." also helps. Even out the playing field in your brain.
