I am getting married in a gazebo outside. It will be in the day at 3pm. Any tips on decorating it to make it look nice? My colors are green and yellow and I am having daisies.

  1. I'm getting married outside in a gazebo at 2pm (06/06/09).  The place I'm having my wedding done through decorates it with tulle draped over the front part (it makes kind of an archway) with flowers at the top (you could put daisies there) and they put ferns on pedestals right in front of the other pillars.  Here is a picture of the gazebo I'm getting married at that's decorated for a wedding.

  2. Well it just depends on how simple you it to how done up.

You can do twinkle lights which will show up in the daytime too, tulle, individual daises spread about or 2 large bouquets- one next to the Bride on one side and the other near the groom on the other side. You could cover each pole with tulle and use daisy flower to decorate on the tulle or tie a bunch on each side.

Really the decorations are endless from things hanging from the ceiling- to things tied on the sides, to draping, to really simple.

  3. If you have the money to spend on it...I think you should consider doing it like the gazebo on Cinderella Story... I watched that movie with my soon to be step daughter and omg gorgeous...check it out.

Hopefully the video comes up so you can see it real well

  4. Try decorating with banners, streamers, tablecloths, flowers and whatever else you can think of to the colour sceme. If you want somethign a bit different, I once heard of someone who put fishbowls on every table with exotic fish inside them. Probably expensive, but no doubt way more interesting than a vase of flowers! My advice is be creative and use what you would like to see, but if you're having trouble making it look tastefull to try the colour scheme idea. Or, if you really don't feel like being creative, try a theme. For example, Rococo or Victorian, that way you can get furniature and decorations to match the theme without having to think too much about what you want it to look like. Hope that helped =]

  5. Decorate it with the same type of flowers you are using in at your reception. Use colors that are soft though you don't want to take away from you and your fiance, you want the flowers to compliment.

I was the MOH in my best friend's wedding and she also had the ceremony in a gazebo. The flowers were somehow wrapped around the tops part of the gazebo and each column. There were pots of flowers leading up the couple stairs into the gazebo as well. The also tied flowers to the end of each row down the aisle.
