How do I decorate for my web show?

I have everything decorated, except for one thing. We put up a solid piece of fabric, to hide all the extra storage boxes. But now with the solid background, things look dull. What could I do to make the background look less dull?

You could shine a light on it from an angle to create interest without causing a distraction.
